In-Home Estate Sales
I organize and manage professional in-home estate sales from start to finish. With over 15 years of experience in the antiques industry, I bring a trained eye and a trusted process to every estate sale. I organize, price, and stage the sale right on-site, handling everything from setup to clean-up. Each sale is professionally marketed to my exclusive list of loyal, qualified buyers, collectors, and dealers, helping you get the best value with less stress.

Online Consignment
For select rare and high-value items, I offer online consignment through platforms that provide the proper attention to your valuables. I handle photography, descriptions, pricing, and shipping. Additionally, I promote listings to my trusted network of buyers, ensuring each item is viewed by those who genuinely appreciate it.

Buyouts
When time is limited or a sale isn’t the best fit, I offer full or partial buyouts. I evaluate your items with care and make a fair offer so you can move forward quickly. My buyout service is ideal for estates that require a fast and simple solution without compromising value.

Donation Management
When certain items don’t fit a sale or resale strategy, I handle donation coordination on your behalf. I ensure that gently used goods are donated to local charities that accept them, and I provide documentation so you can receive a tax-deductible record for your donation.

Three Simple Steps
Overwhelmed? I get it, this is personal. My process is designed to make a hard time feel a little easier. I guide you every step of the way with a trusted, easy process.
STEP 1
Schedule a Free Consultation
Start with a free, no-pressure consultation to determine how we can best support you. We can meet in person, over Zoom, or by email with photos if you're out of town. This conversation helps us understand the size of the estate, your timeline, and any unique circumstances. Whether you're managing a loved one's estate or preparing for a move, we’ll walk you through the next steps with clarity.
STEP 2
Create a Custom Plan
Every estate is unique, which is why we create a customized plan tailored to your specific needs. We assess the inventory and recommend the best approach, whether that’s a full estate sale, selective consignment, or direct buyout. We handle all pricing and organization of items. If an estate sale is part of the plan, we also manage early online listings to help generate buyer interest through marketing campaigns before the sale begins.
STEP 3
Clear the Space & Finalize the Sale
Once the buyout sale or estate liquidation is complete, we help clear any remaining items, coordinate donation pickups, and leave the space clean and ready for what’s next. You’ll receive a detailed inventory and payout summary within seven days. Our goal is to make this process easy and respectful, especially for those managing estates from out of state or navigating difficult transitions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Every estate is different, so we offer three options:
1. On-site estate sale
2. Consignment of Items
3. Estate buyout
An estate sale is a two-day event where items are sold to the public directly in the home.
Consignment is where the consignee and consignor agree to sell items based on an agreed-upon percentage of the sales going to the consignor.
A buyout is where an estate company agrees to buy one item, multiple items, or an entire estate for an agreed-upon price from the seller.
Remove all the items you wish to keep. This includes sentimental items and items that cannot be sold at an estate sale, such as alcohol, over-the-counter and prescribed medications, firearms and ammunition, hazardous materials, and perishable food. Additionally, the premises should be relatively clean so that buyers can attend the sale comfortably.
The seller must have legal title to the entire contents of the premises, the property, free and clear of all liens or other claims of right. The seller shall maintain liability insurance for the premises on which the estate sale will take place.
While I don’t prepare tax returns, I will refer you to a CPA and coordinate with you to implement tax-efficient investment strategies. I also work with estate planning attorneys to ensure your legacy and wealth transfer plans are in place. See Strategic Alliances
Each estate is different, so preparation will vary depending on the number of items, the research required for those items, the weather, holidays, and the schedule. Typically, estate sales last two to three days.
We do a free, no-obligation evaluation of your items to determine if a consignment is worthwhile. Consignment items typically have a higher value, and an agreed-upon percentage for selling the items online is negotiated with the consignor and the consignee. All items are carefully packed, inventoried, and taken to the consignee's establishment for online sale. The consignor will receive a percentage of sales at an agreed-upon time.
We sell items at fair market value based on experience, research, and appraisals by third-party experts if necessary. How do buyouts work? We will make you an offer on one item or an entire collection of items and remove them from the premises immediately. Payment is made via Venmo, Zelle, or personal check. We do NOT carry cash to buyouts.
We can provide a list of options to donate, recycle, or dispose of your items; however, we do not coordinate this unless paid to do so. Who are the buyers? We have a network of online and in-person buyers who have attended our estate sales and purchased items through our online platform. We advertise through social media, estatesales.net, an email subscriber list, and with street signs for estate sales.
